WALLENPAUPACK PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCATION BUILDING COMMITTEE
The May 1, 2010 meeting of the Building Committee was opened at 9:05 AM. In attendance were Chairman George Greig, Sandi Boyer, Building Compliance Officer Fran Raimo, and Board Representative Ted Couillou. Absent for a family function was Mike Difrancesco. Old Business We are still awaiting the Board’s decision on dirt tracks on homeowner’s property. The Building Committee does not want responsibility to be attributed to WLE if permission is given by the Building Compliance Officer, in the event of an accident. Trees. Re: Arborist. Ted reported that the Board is considering hiring an Arborist for only WLE amenity and green areas, not for any individually owned property. There was discussion about requiring tree replacement for any tree removal to be at the discretion of the Building Committee. New Business The campground is undergoing some tree removal. A large tree fell during a storm on Site 8, bringing this problem to light. Unsightly Lots: This is not within the purview of the Building Compliance Officer or the Building Committee, as some property owners seem to think. There were no new house permits (number still at 1339), and 4 other fee permits. Also issued were 44 non-fee permits and 21 tree removal permits. All future Building Committee meetings will be held on the first Saturday of the Month. Next meeting is June 5, 2010 at 9 AM. Meeting adjourned at 9:35 AM.
