The new Board of Directors convened at 2:45 for the purpose of selecting officers and choosing committee assignments for the year.  Also in attendance was General Manager, John Carney.

The officer selection procedure was agreed upon, establishing that any Board Member could nominate another member to the position under consideration.  The nominated member would agree to that nomination by their acceptance.

Jerry LaStella nominated Jerry Beskovoyne for President.  Jerry accepted the nomination. Since there were no further nominations Jerry was elected by acclamation.

Jerry LaStella nominated Gina Florio for Vice President.  Gina accepted the nomination.  Since there were no further nominations Gina was elected by acclamation.

Gina Florio nominated Dan Braun for Treasurer.  Dan accepted the nomination. Since there were no further nominations Dan was elected by acclamation.

Jerry LaStella nominated Ted Couillou for Secretary.  Ted accepted the nomination.  Since there were no further nominations Ted was elected by acclamation.

General Manager, John Carney, was appointed Assistant Secretary.

The next order of business was the discussion of committee responsibilities and assignments.  The committee assignments as discussed and agreed to by all are as follows:

Buildings and Grounds              Ted Couillou

Security and CRC                                Elvin Quinones

Maintenance and Marina                       Jerry LaStella

Legal and Administration                       Gina Florio

Recreation                                            Alan Cucciniello

Water and Sewer                                 Ted Couillou

By unanimous vote the Board has decided to disclose how each member votes on any motions brought about.

A motion to adjourn was made by Gina Florio and seconded by Alan Cuccinello

The next meeting will be held July 11, 2008.
